The President General of Owahwa Sub-Clan in OML34, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Ambassador ( Chief) Godwin Okporoko has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to disregard the orchestrated attacks against Tantita Services Security Limited.

Okporoko, Executive Assistant on Security Matters to Governor of Delta State, made the call on Friday.

He said, Tantita's effective operations had contributed to increased crude oil production and allocations to Federal government, States and Local Government councils.

“ The evidence can be seen across the country, the FG, States Governors are executing massive projects due to increased allocations. Kudos to Tantita Security Services Limited”

The Urhobo community leader, noted that  apart from securing the critical national assets, Tantita has committed huge funds into Corporate Social Responsibility to renovate government institutions, supporting security agencies”

“ Thousands of youths are fully engaged and employed by Tantita. Also, it is obvious that Tantita has reduced the level of crimes and attacks on pipelines by working with all stakeholders, accommodating and taking aggrieved youths from the streets”

He commended Chief Government Ekpemuplo alias Tompolo, Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, for being committed and patriotic in his collaboration with President Tinubu in tackling the menace of oil theft in Niger Delta.

Okporoko also appreciated the Managing Director of Tantita, Chief Kestin Pondi for leading a proactive and proficient management team.

He advised President Tinubu to understand that those who are looking for opportunity to return to the illicit business of oil theft are same people calling for termination of Tantita’s contract.

“ Tantita is not the only company handling pipeline surveillance contract in Niger Delta, so, why the unnecessary attacks on Tantita. We do not want to go back to the dark days of low crude oil production, and this is why the Tantita’s contract must be sustained, and even expanded”
